Employment-Based Immigration Visas

Employment-Based Immigration Visas fall under 2 umbrellas: Temporary Workers and Permanent Workers.

Temporary (Nonimmigrant) Workers

A prospective employer must generally file a nonimmigrant petition on your behalf with USCIS in order for you to come to the U.S. lawfully as a nonimmigrant to work temporarily in the U.S. There are many nonimmigrant temporary worker classifications. For more information about the filing requirements for particular nonimmigrant classifications, click on the link under each respective category. Click on the category to access a separate page full of useful information.

Complete list of Temporary (Nonimmigrant) Worker Visas are as follows:

Spouses and Children Seeking Dependent Nonimmigrant Classification

Are you a spouse or child of a temporary worker who is temporarily working in the U.S.? Or are you a temporary worker looking to bring your spouse and/or child to the U.S. while you’re here? If so, here is an option to help you.

Spouses and children who qualify for dependent nonimmigrant classification of a temporary worker and who are located outside of the U.S. should apply directly at a U.S. consulate for a visa. We can help you with this process. What we will do is file a Form I-539 “Application to Extend/Change Nonimmigrant Status” on your behalf and help you through this application process. Call or email us to set up an appointment for a free initial consultation.
